I do not use blogging because I do not know how to use it.

Students could write a blog about certain religious events/festivals/saints.

    1) Use different methods of communicating that students engage with on smart phones – Twitter

    2) Students supporting each other with homework. Students asking extended questions if find work easy. Create dialogue about a topic. Students voice/feedback on curriculum or general departmental ideas

  4. Jo says :

    Current reasons:
Have not learnt how to use it.
Difficult to se evidence of learning.
Not always easy to use in a classroom without computers.
Afraid that it will lead to an unmanageable amount of marking.

Blogging a debate between students in relation to any topic.
Sharing written work so that other students can give feedback.

because I have got out of the habit
could use it to write responses to issues e.g. why did so many people die in Haiti 2010

Blogging is not something I have had any experience with before.

Using with GCSE and A Level students to record processes in manufacturing work and development of skills.

  7. Charlotte Davis says :

Currently I do not use blogging in the classroom as my skills are not up to scratch. I am new to blogging but would like to include it in the class if possible.

As an LSA it would be difficult to use within a classroom environment but I think it would be a great resource as an ‘SEN blog’

  8. Alan Mangles says :

I have never used blogging due to lack of understanding.
I could use this as a tool to inform students and parents of fixtures, results of football matches and return / collection times, squad lists etc
